When we travel a long distance to a new place we pass through many regions, see many things, never knowing what's around the next corner. Every journey is an adventure. Every turn holds excitement and has the potential to surprise us. This is a group of such journeys told musically through a blending of classical, generative, and middle eastern stylings based on Philip Chika’s “chained chaos” theory of composition. About Chained Chaos Theory
Chained Chaos is a musical composition methodology first designed by Philip Chika in the early 1990's and developed over the ensuing decades. It is comprised of a group of techniques which filter and limit quasi-randomly generated snippets of source material thus "chaining down" the chaos in a way that produces musically valid components and then blends them with human elements to produce coherent musical output.

Just as nature borrows from mathematics, and biological evolution is ultimately the result of random mutations, so chained chaos allows us to take advantage of these same elements to ultimately produce interesting and engaging music.
